Physiotherapy
Physiotherapy is a treatment to restore, maintain, and make the most of a patient’s mobility, function, and well-being. Physiotherapy helps through exercise rehabilitation, injury prevention, joint mobilizations, soft-tissue massage, stretching and more. They combine their in-depth knowledge of the body and how it works with specialized hands-on clinical skills to assess, diagnose and treat symptoms of illness, injury or disability.

Chiropractic
Chiropractic care is a patient-centered, non-invasive, hands-on treatment focused on your spine, muscles, joints and nervous system. Chiropractors use the best available evidence and clinical expertise to diagnose issues that affect your body’s movement. They treat them without medication or surgery and prevent them from returning. Chiropractors not only treat the spine but are able to treat any joint in the body.

Athletic Therapy

Athletic therapists adhere to the Sports Medicine Model of care. They are best known for rehabilitating high level athletes using various mobilizations, stretching, massage, exercise prescription and bracing/taping techniques. The treatment varies but the objective doesn’t: an Athletic Therapist's goal is to help clients achieve their peak performance and rehabilitate injuries, whether that means playing competitive sports or improving daily function.

Strength & Conditioning
At the Spot RPR, we offer one on one Strength & Conditioning, Team Training as well as Sports Performance Programming.  We take our experience with professional athletes and the sports science available to them, and make it available to all.  Our Strength & Conditioning Specialists will work with you or your team to develop both short term and long term goals to prevent injury and maximize performance.  Whether your goals are to make it to the professional level or maintain a healthy lifestyle, our specialists will be able to guide you along the way.

Sports Massage Therapy
Sports massage is a form of treatment specifically designed for soft tissues injuries. Sport Massage Therapists use specific massage techniques for the purpose of enhancing a person’s recovery from, or preparation for, the physical demands of training, competition or work.  Sports Massage treatment helps prevent injuries, enhance the performance of muscles, and boost overall athletic performance.

Custom Orthotics

Commonly known as insoles, foot orthotics help support the foot structure, offload areas of high pressure, and improve biomechanics, reduce pain and improve sport performance. For some patients the benefits of foot orthotics may be felt all the way up in the back.  At The Spot Rehab, our orthotics are made fully custom to your sport, profession and individual specific needs.  We go through a meticulous assessment process and follow up appointments to ensure our product performs perfectly.

Massage Therapy
Massage therapy consists primarily of hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body, specifically, the muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments and joints for the purpose of optimizing health.Massage therapy treatment has a therapeutic effect on the body and optimizes health and well-being through relaxation, reduction of soreness & tightness, as well as improving circulation.

Shockwave Therapy
Shockwave therapy is a state of the art, non-invasive treatment that involves creating a series of low energy acoustic wave pulsations that are directly applied to an injury through a person’s skin via a gel medium.  The purpose of the therapy is to trigger the body’s own natural healing response, proven successful in a number of scientific studies to treat chronic conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and calcific tendinitis. Many people report that their pain is reduced and mobility improved after the first treatment.

Cold Laser Therapy

Cold laser therapy is a state of the art, non-invasive treatment that uses low-level lasers. This drug-free therapy stimulates damaged tissues, which speeds up healing and reduces inflammation. The healing and relief provided by cold laser are due to several mechanisms. It triggers the body to heal itself and stimulates the mitochondria, which encourages regeneration and cell repair. The laser can penetrate up to four inches into the tissue to promote healing right at the source of the injury.  It provides better joint mobility and stimulates tissue regeneration. Cold laser therapy is good for conditions such as tendinitis, strains, sprains, wound healing and more.
