What makes us different from other rehab clinics? Our motto is to help you “Feel Better Move Better Stay Better”. We strongly believe that everyone should be able to feel and perform to the best of their physical capabilities and we’re here to help you get there. At The Spot RPR, we practice with an evidence based approach, utilizing the most up to date research and our own clinical expertise to provide a complete rehabilitative plan to get you back into feeling and performing the best. We focus on the body as a whole unit understanding the root and cause of problems and not just the area of pain and injury. What should I expect for my Initial Assessment appointment? At your initial assessment with your therapist, there will be a thorough background evaluation regarding the issues and injuries you are inquiring about. After the initial physical and background evaluation, an initial treatment will be followed with education on the symptoms of illness, injury or disability whether it be through manual therapy, modalities or exercise rehabilitative programming. The initial assessment typically ranges from 45 - 60 minutes, depending on the type of therapy.
-
How should I prepare for my first appointment? We ask our patients to wear clothing appropriate to the type and area of injury. Shorts and a t-shirt or tank top is usually sufficient. Bring any test reports or other medical documentation that is relevant to your condition to your appointment. Please also bring your extended health benefits card as we may be able to directly bill to your insurer for your visit. We ask that you please arrive 10 minutes early to complete your intake forms or complete the form before you come to your appointment.
